Baby's first trip to the pediatrician!

What better way to spend day five than in the waiting room of the pediatrician's! We like our doctor very much but she doesn't love that Scarlett isn't gaining weight. We will continue to have weigh-in's every three days until she is back to her birth weight, ugh. This visit she is 7 lbs. 3oz.

Baby's first trip to the orthopedist!

It did give us the opportunity to dress her up in the cutest outfit courtesy of her Aunt Carrie & Uncle Gamble. Carrie MADE the little elf hat she is wearing and the little green dress is perfect because it is a snap to take on and off for doctor appointments. The perfect marriage of form and function, my joie de vivre!




Our little one was born with the loosest hips in town, please save your jokes, she is just a baby! The pediatrician in the hospital wanted to make sure that she is ok and doesn't need baby's first harness. The first appointment happened to be the first day out of the hospital and she was just 4 days old! The orthopedist wasn't concerned but because she was so young we are going to go back when she is a little older to make sure the problem corrects itself.

Homecoming!

After 6 very long days in the hospital & two escape attempts, we were finally sprung! Next daunting task: take care of a newborn and climb three flights of stairs.
