Scarlett is 25 Weeks!

caught in mid-laugh

Highlights of the Week:

As you can see as the weeks go on it is harder and harder to get Scarlett to sit still for her close up.

-We may just have the happiest, smiliest, laughiest baby on the block.

-She has a new smile where she sees you, throws her head back and smiles with her whole head, she kinda looks like a happy sea hag, we love it!

-She is mimicking a lot this week: raspberries, squeals, high-pitched screams & if she sees you laughing she will repeat what she’s doing to get more laughs. A little ham already, we love it.

-Today at brunch, I shouted to a friend at the other side of the restaurant and she scowled and stuck her fingers in her ears, it was hilarious.

-On a weird note, she seems to be afraid of classical music. She loves music and we basically sing and dance all day but my girl is not into the cultural significance of classical. Abe says twice now he has turned some on and she becomes frightened and reaches for him. Bizarre.

-In crawling news, she is so very close but hasn’t gotten the hang of it yet (thankfully). She is great at pivoting around in a circle, and going backwards but frontwards has her stymied for now.

-In TMI news after a brief hiatus she prefers to nurse standing up which, is a lot more challenging because she can’t stand up on her own. I guess I just need to invest in a couple more hands.

-She has two razor blades for teeth and is currently cutting another one. She is handling it really great although, we can tell that sometimes she is in pain.

Congratulations to
