Highlights Of The Week

Highlights:
Great visit with Bubby & Papu.
Gideon:
-He is STILL sick, this poor kid can not catch a break. He still has a cold and terrible cough.
-To add insult to injury, he is losing his magnificent hair.


Scarlett:
-She says the funniest, most clever and intelligent things on a daily basis. Such an honor watching these kids grow.
-Tonight, I asked her if she wanted more brothers and sisters or just Gideon. She said:
'Just Gideon and two sisters...and two babies'

Asleep Post Vaccines

Abe said it looks like he is jumping in the air clicking his heels.

 Right after we got home he was so tired and had the vaccines coursing through his veins.

This is after a 5 hour crying jag due to the vaccines, it sucked! But, hopefully this means the 4 month ones will be easier.

Gideon's 2 Month Pediatrician Check Up (at almost 3 months)

Good things, Deegs doesn't have whooping cough but he still has a cold (going on 3 weeks, ugh). He was deemed well enough for inoculations, poor little dude. 
In that never happens news: I told the Dr. that he is rolling over and the doctor said something like 'yeah, with your help' then when the doctor was checking him on his tummy HE ROLLED OVER, ha, vindication is so sweet. The Dr. said 'well, that's a first'. Our boy is a genius! ! ;)

This morning, I'm all dressed up for work -- suit and tie -- and I'm changing Scarlett's diaper. The diaper has a picture of a dog on it. First Scarlett looks at me and says, "All dressed for work?" Then she looks at the picture of the dog on the diaper and says the following: "His daddy go to work. He miss his daddy... His daddy come back?"

Highlights Of The Week:

Gideon is rolling over, it's very early, I think!

He is a great conversationalist, he and I have long conversations in the afternoon during Scarlett's nap time.

He still has a cold :(

We have dubbed him our 'Go Along To Get Along Boy'

After a particularly tiring day Daddy is holding Deegs and he sighed and said 'The Antidote!'

Scarlett has had such a great week some funny things she has said:

'Careful Mommy, I slipped there yesterday!'

'Can I watch a movie? Something very special.'

'Look I can see your reflejrljon (reflection)'

'Look it's our shadows. hi shadows!'

'I LOVE picnics!'

'Is that snack cup for me? Well, thanks Mommy!'

'I turned the water on for baby brother so that he can feel better.'

'Daddy Daddy, Gideon Hugged me, he hugged me!' (he did, it was incredible sweet)
