All of Scarlett's friends happen to be boys so when she met Caroline they were able to bond about being the only ladies in a sea of boys that inhabit SWCC. They are adorable together.

Scout's Excersaucer
Our girl hates to be tied down or penned in, the proof of that is piled in our basement. It was surprising to discover how much she loves the excersaucer that her friend Caroline lent her.

Scarlett is 24 Weeks!
Highlights:Huge Week!
-Scout cut her first tooth! She was cranky on Thursday and had a real meltdown at yoga the likes of which we hadn't seen in months. Come to find out that a tooth had sprouted, our little trooper is getting through it like a champ.
-In crawling news: she has been doing that rev up where she rocks back and forth on all fours well, this morning she took one crawl, twice! We are so so not ready for mobile Scarlett.
UPDATE: as of Monday morning Scarlett has TWO little teeth, she's all growsed up!

Scarlett is 23 Weeks!
Highlights:-Scout is going through a growth spurt. She is eating almost double what she used to and is able to stay up for longer periods of time, very exciting.
-This week in particular she is frustrated by her own limitations. All this kid wants to do is fly.
-It is all about grabbing and reaching for things this week.
-She is fascinated with whatever we put in our mouths. I suppose she is preparing to become a food eater in just a month.
-She has a newish laugh that sounds like a cross between shriek and a demon possession. She is quite chatty.
-She is also a squirmy worm who doesn't like to keep still.
-She is great at scooching backwards and pivoting but no crawling yet (thank god)
